Click & Collect service
Hastings Toy Library proudly offers a Click & Collection service to all our members. Members are welcome to browse and borrow at the toy library as well. Guidelines for using Click & Collect are listed below:
Click & Collect Procedures
Hastings Toy Library is pleased tobe able to offer Click and Collect for our members.
- Members can choose some toys via our online database (please note there may be some toys in maintenance or being catalogued that may be unavailable, we will do our best to substitute items if this occurs).
- The Coordinator will collate your items and have them ready for collection. Please limit puzzles to 2 only. If your children really love puzzles you can choose more but we might substitute for a similar puzzle if we can’t locate it quickly.
- You will choose your own pick-up time via the SETLS Click & Collect.
- If you are unable to attend on your selected date, please email the toy library at htl@mail.org and we’ll try our best to accommodate you.
NOTE:
If you are late or having trouble getting to your booked timeslot, please text the toy library phone (0411 294 838).
Please do not visit the toy library if you are unwell or displaying cold or flu-like symptoms.
Step 1: Booking a time
- Log in to SETLS via htl.setls.com.au (if you can’t remember your login or are having trouble please email us at htl@mail.org and we can send a reset password). NOTE: If you use Hotmail they frequently send our emails to SPAM so please add us to your address book.
- Click on the Click and Collect option on the left sidebar on your member page.
- You need to select a Click & Collect time slot. Select the date, then time slot, then choose whether you wish to Loan & Return, Loan Only or Return Only. If you select Loan & Return or Loan Only, you will then be directed select your toys. If you selected Return Only, your session will be confirmed and there is no more to do.
Step 2: Select Toys
- After selecting your date & session time, and if you have selected Loan & Return or Loan Only, you will then be directed to select your toys.
- Browse toys under by selecting Available toy pictures or Available toys list buttons.
- Once you’ve selected your toy, click on the toy you would like to borrow and the relevant toy page will display. Then select Place in Basket button
- You can then return to your Basket page by returning to your Click & Collect page.
- Review your toy selections. If you wish to remove any toy selections, you can by clicking the Remove button. Once you’re happy with your selections, click the Click to Finalise Your Selection button. If you don’t confirm, you will receive a reminder email. Unconfirmed selections may be be collated by the coordinator in time for you to collect.
- If you wish to cancel your session, please notify the coordinator by texting them on 0411 294 838 or by emailing them on htl@mail.org
Note: SESSIONS will be CLOSED 20 hours prior to their Booked Session so that the toy orders can be collated for pickup in a timely manner.
Step 3: Return Toys
- Pack up and check your pieces at home. If you are missing many pieces, please do not return the toy, keep it at home and keep searching for the pieces. Please try to do this prior to Saturday so you have time to check and clean all toys (this includes outdoor toys).
- Make sure you login to SETLS (as detailed above) to select your session date, time and that you wish to RETURN TOYS.
- Give all of your toys a clean. This is a requirement of membership but is more important than ever at present. ALL TOYS SHOULD BE WIPED OVER WITH A DAMP CLOTH USING MILD, SOAPY WATER. DO NOT IMMERSE TOYS IN WATER OR USE BOILING WATER AS THIS DAMAGES TOYS. WIPE DOWN THE OUTSIDE OF BOXES. This helps protect our staff and reduce the time spent counting and cleaning toys after quarantine, and it ensures toys are ready to be borrowed again, thank you.
- Visit the toy library at your booked session. Please be mindful of the flow of customers within the library foyer.
- Returns will be placed in the on the Wire Shelf Unit at the library front door. We will ask you to place the toys on shelf yourself so that nobody else needs to handle them. Please note if there any missing pieces will not automatically appear (or be removed from) on your member record until after the quarantine period has finished.
Please be mindful of others and practice social distancing. Hand sanitiser is available for use if needed.
Step 4: Collect Toys
- Once your toys are returned, Claire will locate your toys and bring them to the foyer for you.
- Once home, please check the toys for complete parts. Make sure you notify the toy library if there are pieces missing or broken.
- Take your toys home and play with your children 🙂
